Physical Properties

This product presents as uniform white crystalline powder with no peculiar odour. It features a bitter and salty taste. Solubility parameters are stable at conventional ambient temperature: freely soluble in water with a solubility of 119.8% at 20℃, fully soluble in glycerin, and slightly soluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution of dried magnesium sulfate maintains a neutral pH value, ensuring stable performance in downstream formulation and processing scenarios.

Industrial & Food Applications

The product is approved for widespread use in the food processing industry with multiple functional applications. It serves as a magnesium nutritional fortifier to supplement essential mineral elements in food products. It acts as a solidifying agent, flavour regulator, and processing aid to standardise food texture and taste. In brewing processing, it functions as a dedicated brewing additive, optimising microbial fermentation activity and improving the flavour of synthetic sake with a standard dosage of 0.002%. Additionally, it is applicable for water hardness adjustment in food and industrial water systems to meet processing water parameter requirements.

Packaging Specification

Standard packaging adopts a double-layer structure for product safety and moisture resistance. The inner layer is a food-grade polyethylene lining bag for isolation from external contaminants, and the outer layer is a high-strength compound plastic woven bag for mechanical damage resistance. The standard net weight per unit package is 25kg, with stable packaging dimensions suitable for palletised stacking and containerised shipping.

Storage & Transportation Requirements

Warehouse storage requires dry, well-ventilated indoor environments with constant low humidity conditions to prevent product agglomeration and moisture deterioration. During land and sea transportation, goods shall be kept away from high-temperature heat sources and humid environments. Manual and mechanical unloading shall be conducted gently to avoid package rupture and product leakage.
