Physical & Chemical Properties

This product presents as dark blue triclinic crystals, blue crystalline powder or granules with a metallic odour. The material exhibits slow efflorescence under dry atmospheric conditions, with a relative density of 2.284. It undergoes dehydration at temperatures exceeding 150°C, forming anhydrous copper sulfate, which features strong water absorption properties.

The product delivers stable solubility performance under conventional conditions. It is fully soluble in water, forming acidic aqueous solutions; a 0.1mol/L aqueous solution registers a pH value of 4.17 at 15°C. It shows complete solubility in glycerol and dilute ethanol, and is insoluble in absolute ethanol.
