Physical & Chemical Properties
The product is available in two forms: anhydrous grade and 1.5 hydrate grade. Anhydrous potassium carbonate presents as white granular powder, while the hydrated variant appears as white translucent crystals or granules. The product is odourless with an alkaline taste.
It exhibits strong deliquescence when exposed to ambient air. The product features high solubility in water, forming an alkaline aqueous solution, and is insoluble in ethanol and ether. All property indicators comply with standard industrial and food processing technical requirements.
Industrial & Food Grade Applications
This potassium carbonate serves as a functional processing ingredient, applicable as pH adjuster, nutritional supplement, processing aid and spice additive in food manufacturing. Controlled dosage addition in noodle and wonton production modifies the physical texture and surface colour of finished products, and delivers characteristic flavour and elasticity to dough-based food items.
Standard Packaging Specification
Dual-layer packaging structure is adopted for product storage and transportation protection. The inner layer is a polyethylene lining bag for moisture isolation, and the outer layer is a compound plastic woven bag for mechanical damage resistance. Standard net weight per unit package is 25kg. Custom packaging specifications are available upon customer requirement for bulk and tailored orders.
Storage & Transportation Requirements
Finished products require storage in dry, ventilated warehouse environments with stable ambient conditions. During transportation, goods shall be kept away from high-temperature sources and humid environments. Manual and mechanical unloading operations need to be conducted gently to prevent package breakage and product leakage.
Segregated storage and transportation is mandatory. The product must be kept completely separate from toxic, hazardous and polluting substances to avoid cross-contamination, ensuring product purity and application safety.
