Physical & Chemical Properties

The material appears as white, loose odorless powder or friable lumps. It has a melting point of 350°C and remains stable under normal ambient conditions.

Decomposes into magnesium oxide and carbon dioxide when heated to 700°C.

Nearly insoluble in water; aqueous suspensions exhibit weak alkalinity.

Insoluble in ethanol. Reacts with dilute acids with visible effervescence.

Applications

This grade supports multiple use cases in food and ingredient manufacturing:

Flour treatment agent and dough conditioner in wheat flour processing

Anti-caking agent for powdered food blends and dry mixes

Packaging

Each unit uses a polyethylene inner liner and a composite plastic woven outer bag, with a net weight of 25 kg per bag. Standard shipments are palletized as 40 bags per full pallet, with stretch wrapping for transit stability. Custom packaging sizes and configurations are available for volume orders.
